Why Most Study Methods Fail

Spaced Repetition
Instead of reviewing everything equally, our system calculates the optimal moment to show you each topic again, right before you're about to forget it.
First Review
You answer a question. The system records whether you got it right and how confident you were.
Smart Scheduling
The algorithm calculates when you'll start forgetting. It schedules your next review just before that point.
Growing Intervals
Each successful review pushes the next one further out: 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, 2 weeks. Mastered topics fade to the background.
Why We Ask “How Sure Are You?”
Getting the right answer isn't enough. Your confidence level tells the system whether you truly understand the material or just got lucky.
You know it and you know you know it. The system spaces out your next review.
You got it right but weren't sure. The system schedules an earlier re-review to confirm real learning.
Confidently Held Misconception. The most dangerous gap. Flagged for immediate, repeated review until corrected.
You didn't know it and you knew you didn't. Scheduled for regular review at a shorter interval.
What It Takes to Master a Topic
A topic is “mastered” when you meet all three criteria:
Your estimated mastery must reach 0.9 out of 1.0
You must answer correctly at least 3 times in a row
Your self-reported confidence must be 4 or higher
